Come Monday...weekly newsletter

Another Monday, another edition of Come Monday, my weekly newsletter! I hope all of my U.S. followers had a fun-filled 4th of July and hopefully you're enjoying a relaxing day before starting another week. Let's start off with the winner of Friday's Follower Freebie--congratulations to the lovely Kae, also known as The Hungry Asian! I hope you enjoy your prizes and thanks to all who entered.

In nail polish news, I saw an ad in Lucky Magazine that shows 2 new OPI Designer Series polishes coming out soon, DS Radiance (a silvery white) and DS Magic, (a blue/purple shade). I think I have 19 of the DS polishes, so I'll likely be adding these to my collection when they come out in August.

Here's another new collection, this one from China Glaze. It's not coming out until January 2011, but it's always nice to know what's coming, so we can plan our budget accordingly! This is called Anchors Away, and while I don't have color descriptions or too much more information, you can click on the pictures to have a closer look. Sea Spray in the bottom row was the shade my eyes were first drawn to. Do you see any colors that look appealing?

The picture at the top of my post are some polishes from my sister. You may remember I told you that she and my niece were at a flea market not too far from their home in Clemson, South Carolina, and they came across a table of polishes for $1.00 each. They're not anything top quality or rare and discontinued, but I love the look of all of the different bottle designs. And who doesn't love getting fun polishes! My sis and her husband and off to Iran as we speak, and my niece is on a flight to Costa Rica for a school trip, so I wish them all safe and happy travels. I'll be finishing up swatching the BB Couture Catalina Nights collection this week, and playing around with some of the flea market polishes to share with you also. My untried shelf could use some attention too, so those are my blogging plans for the week. Have a great week, and don't break a nail!
