Returning the Call

When I posted my first giveaway
and asked you
to tell me how you first entered Blog Land
and for an introduction to one of your favorites,
I thought that I'd have a few entries to celebrate
my 50th follower.....
and a few new friends to call upon.

I never imagined that I would receive
80 comments.

80!!!

Many from new friends and followers
who introduced me to even more
 friends through their kind words!

I had intended to visit each and every one
of you in return, to say thank you and
hi-dee ho, but it is going to take me a while.

A long while.

In the meantime, I'm wishing that we had the
cyber version of the calling card
so that I could swing by your blogs
or e-mail addresses and drop my card
on your hall tree

or entry table

or even slip it in the mail box

just to let you know that I'd been by,
appreciated your calling on me
at Privet and Holly
and wanted to let you know it.

Wouldn't that be fun?

There are so many pretty
options for calling cards, even today,
when that kind of civility {among others}
seems to have fallen by the wayside.

Here are some from Crane's,
a great American company
that has been around since 1801
when calling cards were still the fashion!

If I were to select a cyber calling
card to leave inside your door

or with your butler {hee hee}

I think that I would choose
something like this:

However, until the Geek Squad can
show me how to leave a proper
cyber calling card,
I will leave you one of these
to thank you for calling!

PS:  The giveaway closes
this Wednesday evening at 12AM PST.
{Be sure to enter!}
