Just got out of a meeting with Lola Cosmetics. Got a preview of their Holiday collection. Called "Celebrate in the City," it's based on founder Victoria Jackson's love of New York. The LA-based makeup guru (she's basically the founder of modern foundation, and has 20 years of makeup artist experience under her belt) renovated a townhouse on Manhattan's Upper East Side and moved in this spring. Her holiday creations are inspired by her new home; they're glitzy and gilded and packaged in pearly faux python. My fave: LuminEyes Eye Colour Collection. The jam-packed palette is not only stocked with everything you need to create party eyes (and no less than 4 metallic liners), it's got a huge mirror to boot. It's not available until early November, but you're seeing it here, first.
