GoSMILE Supports Autism Research

A great cause to smile about, lemony-fresh, white teeth included: April is Autism Awareness Month—an endeavor that raises awareness about autism, a disease affecting a baby every 20 minutes in the U.S.and, in its honor, G0SMILE is donating a portion of proceeds from their Lemonade Smile toothpaste to Autism Speaks. "Every day thousands of familiar affected by autism choose to make lemonade from their lemons with their advocacy, commitment and action," said Alison Singer, Senior V.P. of Autism Speaks. "[We are] very fortunate to have advocates like Josh and the team at GoSMILE. This opportunity will not only raise vital funds to support autism research, but will also help shine a bright light on autism, which now affects 1 in 166 people." Even sweeter: To go along with the zesty paste, GoSMILE COO Josh Shaw wrote Who Invented Lemonade? The Power of Positive Perspective—a story about overcoming obstacles and turning lemons into lemonade—the proceeds of which will also benefit Autism Speaks.
