I'll Promote You My Pretty..

I see your memo, and raise you a tube of mascara ... According to a collaborative “Work and Power” survey by ELLE magazine and msnbc.com, attractive bosses are more often described as competent, collaborative and as good delegators—with people assuming their “rainmaking ability, hard work, social skills and talent” helped them up that corporate ladder, of course, not their looks. And the flip-side ain't pretty: Less than 15% of unattractive bosses received high marks from their employees. Those same employees assume their oogly boss only got the job due to nepotism (Hmm, Daddy owns the company?) or even an inflated resume. Yikes. Cue: Bring Your Makeup To Work Day.
