Above & Below: Sinful's Night at the Barbados is shown using 2 coats, although 3 would have been optimal. The flash photo above intensifies the shimmer, while the photo below in filtered light with no flash, shows the slight violet duo chrome. Sadly, it's only evident at the nail edge, rather than on the face of the nail.
Below: Kleancolor's Twingkle Love looked promising in the bottle, but those little hearts are very content in there and don't seem to want to come out too easily.

We'll call this my "Heart Placement Fail" look! Sinful Night at the Barbados is a medium blue shimmer with a bit of Periwinkle (or should I spell it Periwingkle) tone to it. The finish is similar to the Sinful I showed you yesterday, Just You Wait, in that it has a very slight duo chrome to it. You can see in the bottle that there's a flash of violet, which does show up at the edges of the nail in different lighting. I've had Kleancolor's Twingkle Love--I've got to say, that spelling really throws me!--sitting here since last summer as an untried, so I fished around with the brush and put a coat or two (or 3 or 4) over it just to check it out. If I was serious about it, I would've gotten some toothpicks and placed the hearts in a more uniform pattern, but I'll try that another time. You'd think with the density of hearts in the bottle, they'd come out on the brush better than they did. I do like them though, because they're fairly thin and pliable, and they're very holographic, as you can see in one of the photos above.
