Eyeko Vintage, Nude & Lilac

Eyeko is a brand that I've heard of, but really didn't know too much about. I don't believe their polishes or other cosmetics are readily available here in the U.S. They sent me some polishes to review, and I have 3 of the shades for you now. The press release states that these are 3 of 5 shades "back by popular demand." Tomorrow I'll be reviewing 3 of their new Spring/Summer shades.

Above & Below: Vintage is a lush green hue that is right up my alley! This blue based, dare I say mint green, may or may not be close to Chanel's Jade. Sadly, I don't own it, but that is the question that always seems to come up. The top photo is outdoors under cloudy skies, while the bottom photo was taken with a flash.

Below: Nude is described as a pinky-beige--not quite peach or apricot, so pinky-beige it is! The hint of shimmer adds a nice touch to this neutral shade. I love color, but this is a shade I would use if I wanted something pretty, yet a little more conservative.

Below: Lilac is a lovely pure lilac creme. This may be one of the best true lilac shades I have.

I have to say I'm impressed by these polishes. I used 2 coats on all of these and was surprised-- in a good way, by how pigmented they were. The streaking on the first coat was minimal, and I would describe their drying time as average. The formula was smooth and creamy, and they all dried to a high gloss shine. The bottles are cute, but they are small at only 0.3 oz., as compared to the standard 0.5 oz. The label fonts and the artwork is different on each one, which makes them interesting to look at from a design perspective. These retail for $5.00 each USD and they do offer free shipping on International orders over $55.00. I recently started following them on Twitter (here) and they sometimes announce specials that way. Their web site has been updated and enhanced and seems easy to navigate. I didn't realize all of the cosmetics items they carry, but I love the packaging on them. UK girls and others who are familiar with this brand...what are your thoughts? I see a number of items that look interesting, the Tinted Cream, Fat Balm, and some more polishes, to name a few.
