You know that feeling of being really rested and alert at work? Yeah, me either. But don’t doze off during that board meeting—wait until
lunch!
Come Monday, you can book a 20-40 minute power nap at a new wellness center in Manhattan’s West Side, says
WWD. The center—named
YELO in honor of the high-energy color, of course—offers reflexology and aromatherapy sessions for all the frazzled, over-worked and oh-so-sleepy New Yorkers out there. You get your own private cabin called a “Yelo cab” (the kind that doesn’t smell like takeout curry and feet), and a choice of any music and lighting your sleepy, little heart desires. At up to $125 a session, the price-tag might be one to lose sleep over; but then again, those over-the-counter sleep-aids don’t come with cashmere blankets and a “simulated sunrise” that slowly brightens your little cab, now
do they? Yelo's founders want to include more cities over the next 10 years—the likes of Chicago, London, and San Fran—and even make it into offices and
airports. So exhausted employees around the world, rejoice. I just hope my cabbie doesn’t oversleep ...
