A show-stopping Japanese-inspired calligraphy print organza dress and red velvet couture coat were the real winners amongst Chado Ralph Rucci’s diversified collections. To reflect the architectural quality of the clothes, Chrisianne Davis for Nars created makeup looks that felt fresh with a deconstructed feeling, with the focal point on a bee-stung mouth that was blotted with matte red pencil. “I wanted the lips to resemble the bright pink and orangey flush of a newborn baby,” said Davis. The eyes were set in with layers of black, smoky pencil, while the cheek bones and temples were accented with a creamy, shimmery blush.
