Time to update you on the status of my neglected tresses, 48 hours after my last shampoo. Fortunately, day three wasn't so bad (surprisingly) after coating my hair with mousse and hairspray the day before, so I took
Oscar Blandi's Pronto spray for a test drive for a little sprucing up. With a little help from Gina Bertolotti, hair extraordinaire from Oscar Blandi, I sprayed at the roots and brush with a boar brush to really get the dirt and grime out (thanks to its tight, close-together bristles). As you can see from the photo, when you spray it on at first, it comes out powdery-white in your hair. But with a good brushing and a couple of upside down flips, my hair was revived again—full of body, soft and shiny—without a hint of the greasies. Of course, per Gina's advice, I still had to touch up the ends with a little conditioning spray and another round of hot rollers to re-set my curls. So far so good. Thanks Gina! Ok, on to two more days of unwashed hair. Till next time.
