What a beauty-full night ... The Sephora Pro Beauty Team finals rocked Sephora 34th St. in Manhattan last night, with 16 finalist competing for a spot on the Sephora Beauty Expert Team. (Keep in mind, these are the ones who made it from an original 500 contestants from 12 cities across the country. Definitely no small feat.) In callback auditions, contestants were instructed to create specific looks—50's bombshell, smoky eyes, etc—but tonight they were told to portray their "inspiration" via makeup. A "wild card," as Melvin Ruiz of Sephora South Beach put it. Each contestant meticulously (but speedily) dolled up their models backstage—wild scene with music pumping, stage left—to be ready for the runway show at 6:30 PM. Nerves and excitement were absolutely sky high, especially as a stage coordinator called out, "10 minutes, people, you have 10 minutes!"
