From afar, fashion week looks seamless. Models floating down the runways, looking entirely calm and collected; designers tossing casual waves to a celeb-filled crowd. But
backstage, it’s a different story. So how do they—models, designers, VIP's—cope with the stress? Easy: spa treatment. Last night, at The Daily Lounge in the Night Hotel's Penthouse Suite, a bit of a fashion-spa revolution was at full force. (As were the margaritas and pearlinis.) Cygalle Healing Spa—a one-of-a-kind "luxury mobile spa" offering on-the-go holistic healing—was pampering A-listers with relaxing treatments, just as it does
backstage at shows during fashion week. (Charlotte Ronson, Issa, Temperly London ... Zac Posen tomorrow night.) Founder Cygalle Dias (stage left) developed the unique concept in 2000—in belief that a spa can rejuvenate both your mind
and body amidst all the high-profile stress—and has been wooing clients with hot stone back massages, manicures and electronic paraffin wax therapies ever since. Next up for Dias? Takin' the spa across the pond for
London Fashion Week.
