THE LOOK: Models strutted down the catwalk swathed in chic ensembles from metallic-striped sequined tunics, swingy polka dot capelettes to checkered jumpers. To offset the carefree vibe of the collection, Ayako applied minimal make-up that appeared effortless. “The clothes called for a tomboy-ish look, so I wanted simple makeup with a sexy edge, as if it were left over from yesterday,” said Ayako. Peepers were a focal point with ultra clumpy Twiggy-esque lashes, smudged black liner along the top and bottom rims, followed by a swoosh of shimmery purple shadow across the lids. Lips were left a sultry red wine stain.
