THE LOOK: Following a brief hiatus from the tents at Bryant Park, Ellen Tracy returned for fall ’07 by revving-up the runways with sharp, fashion-forward silhouettes from wide-legged cuffed trousers, fitted trenches to funky fedoras. Backstage, Boehmer played up the predominantly black palette with bold make-up looks. “The models’ slick, pulled back hair called for sexy, smoky eyes and a velvety, matte, red lip—an unexpected yet great way to break up the balance on the face,” said Boehmer. Skin was left completely bare with a bit of highlighter on the cheekbones and temples.
