THE LOOK: A hard-edged collection with black leather seams, belted waists and avant-garde angles called for an equally “strapping” up-do. Hair guru Orlando Pita, whipped-up models’ manes into a sleek, urban style, without adding any harshness. To get the look, Pita spritzed volumizing spray at the tips of tresses, then blow-dried strands straight with T3’s Bespoke Labs Featherweight Dryer. Next, he pulled hair back into two pony tails (one on top and another directly beneath it) and twisted them together into a bun, which was held in place by tying together long, black strands of leather—similar to the ones featured in Lam’s collection. Why we’re so smitten? The leather strands were woven around the top of the forehead and criss-crossed at the very back for a tough, um… bondage-inspired look.
