I’ll admit it. As I watched (obsessed over) the Globes this week, I got a little out of hand. Barking at the screen—as I downed soda and nachos, mind you—I looked a little too much like a
rowdy football fan. "Ew, what is she wearing?! No, no,
noo! ... C’
mon, that was the worst speech ever!! (I know, cringe.) But in the spirit of
positive feedback, I have to say, the makeup trends on the red carpet were inspiring this year. A simple look that was “fresh and pretty; gorgeous skin and natural glowing makeup,” as one celebrity makeup artist put it. The Hollywood set flaunted glossy lips and dark, willowy lashes—thanks to the likes of
Guerlain KissKiss gloss and
Dior's DiorShow mascara, says the
New York Post—and sported perfect, amazingly arched brows. Beverly Hills brow guru
Anastasia Soare, whose east coast studio graces the Times Square
Sephora, personally plucked and penciled numerous celebs for the big night. So get out those light glosses and soft, easy-breezy powders. Our closing word, before the elevator tunes hurry us off stage: go for that understated, radiant look
au naturale this spring!
