A Parisian Prize

It’s tough to swing a jury, period. But a jury of French A-listers? That’s impressive. Bourjois Paris won the “Prix France Maquillage” in the French Marie Claire beauty awards (try it slowly: Prix d'Excellence Marie Claire de la Beauté 2007), from a jury of 11 très célèbre French beauty journalists. The stylish jury lauded Bourjois’ entire makeup collection from 2006—lipstick and shadows and blush, oh my—giving them an “overwhelming thumbs up for its creativity and humour, as well as for its clever, playful and accessible make-up products.” Bourjois is one of the oldest French cosmetics companies around, and clearly for good reason. So, bérets off to them today!
