Forget that old "look good, feel good" saying for a minute. Revised motto? "Smell good, feel good." Smiley, a French fragrance and body care line, claims to have created the first-ever antidepressant perfume. The unisex perfume—made with coca butter-derived ingredients theobromine and phenylethylamine—stimulates the psyche, literally making you happier for wearing it. Not sure if it works yet—although, I perked up out of curiosity opening the box—but wow, what a concept. If it does, forget those couch sob sessions with Dr. Overpriced. The ever-elusive pursuit of happiness might just start at your makeup counter.
