In this quick and easy tutorial, Sam shows you how to create a dramatic sparkling eye and gorgeous lip in no time flat.
Below you'll find her tips and pro makeup choices to get the look.
Flawless Base:
- Starting with the Stippling Brush and a liquid foundation, create a sheer finish base. For fuller coverage, use the same product with theFoundation Brush. Sam uses MAC Face and Body Foundation (1) for ~$32.
Enhanced Eyes:
- Tip > Brush through brows with your Lash-Brow Groomer to remove any traces of foundation.
- Use the angled Brow Brush to fill brows for the perfect shape. Sam uses MAC Mystery eyeshadow (2) for ~$14.50.
- Tip > Want to use loose glitter to create eye looks? Here are the two simple
steps . Apply acream eyeshadow with the Base Shadow Brush. Sam uses Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in Steel (3). Then, use your Shading Brush to apply loose glitter, which clings to the cream shadow for a long-lasting look. Hold a cotton pad under the eye to catch glitter that falls. Sam uses MAC Reflects pigment in Old Gold (4) for ~$19.50. - Line the lower lid with black eyeliner pencil. Sam uses Avon Super Shock (no longer available) (5) but you can try Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in Mat Black for ~$17.00.
- Using the Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush, apply gel eyeliner. Sam chooses Clinique Brush-On Cream Liner (6) for ~$15.00.
- Curl lashes, then apply a few coats of your favorite mascara. Sam uses Clinique High Impact Mascara (7) for ~$14.50. Comb through lashes with your Lash-Brow Groomer to separate and define.
Perfect Finish:
- Use the Pointed Foundation Brush to add concealer under the eyes and around the nose. Sam uses MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer (8) for ~$16.50.
- With your Powder Brush, apply a loose powder to remove shine. Sam chooses Sleek MakeUP Luminous Pressed Powder (9) for ~$10.
- Tip > When your look includes an intense eye and lip, keep your face simply glowing. Use the Multi-Task Brush to apply a cream highlighter instead of blush for an elegant finish. Sam uses Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Face Creme in Rose Gold (10) for ~$30.
- Choose the Detailer Brush to finish the look with a defined lip. Sam uses Avon's Pro To Go Cherry Glisten (no longer available); choose a similar shade that's right for you from Avon's collection (11).
