Good morning! First things first on this first day of summer...Winners! The winner of the Friday Follower Freebie was Lady C! I hope you enjoy your Orly kit and polishes. Before I announce the winner of my birthday giveaway yesterday, I'd like to thank you all for the kind birthday wishes and for participating in the giveaway with Kim and I from Overall Beauty. I really enjoyed reading your responses regarding where you like to spend your summer days, from the more exotic, to the local destinations--even the responses from those of you who don't like summer! Some of you mentioned polish hunting while on vacation in a new location, and I think we can all relate to that. Now for the winner in the birthday contest...Colette from My Simple Little Pleasures! She won the complete 12 piece BB Couture Cantina Nights polish collection. Congratulations, Colette! I'm one of those people who is always looking for signs in things, which I know are usually no more than coincidence. At any rate, I thought it was an interesting twist that Colette won my birthday contest, because she is from Minnesota, which is where I was born.
Not much else to report on this Monday, but I thought this little piece from Life & Style Magazine was funny. Do you notice anything odd? Look closely at the Lancome eye shadow on the left that describes it as an Urban Decay shadow. The one on the right, which is really the Urban Decay, is described as a Lancome shadow. Ha-Ha!
That's it for this week's newsletter. Not to newsy, but it was a hectic week last week, so I'll use that as my excuse! My daughter went back to school today after a 2-week break, so I have lots of catching up to do. I hope you all have a great week!
