We'll take our itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny yellow polka-dot bikini
without the bumps, please. A reader wrote into
Glamour on this recently, echoing a summer dilemma all too many of us relate to: “This weekend, as I headed to the beach with some friends, the same topic came up: the dreaded bikini bumps," she wrote. "What works to get rid of them other than waxing? Help those of us ready for the beach please!”
Glamour suggested a bikini-line "facial"—literally the regular cleanse, exfoliate, mask, but for
down there—as well as a once-a-week deep cleansing mask. (A below-the-belt mask? Um.) Extraordinarily effective, I'm sure, but a bit labor intensive, too. So for those who have the bikini woes, but don't have the patience—or piggy-bank—to actually make it a habit, try a potent hair remover instead.
Tend Skin, a remover made with acne-fighting acetylsaliclyic acid, can be used on your bikini-line, arms, legs, you name it—leaving you no excuse to be Madame Hairy Scary this summer.
