It’s a surprisingly calm scene here at San Francisco’s FashionWeekLive and I got to spend some downtime talking woman to woman with Trish Goff (pictured here with me) while our national makeup artist, Jo Strettel, turned her into a modern, sultry diva with charcoal eyes and nude lips. What people don’t know about this gorgeous girl is she snacks on raw bell peppers, has a 10 year old son who (she thinks) is destined for a career in nature and she loves the scent of orange groves – a comforting scent that stuck with her growing up in Florida. She’s incredibly close to her mom and is an avid reader of the New Yorker. At Houston’s show, she received a bag of goodies and said she enjoyed the lip plumper, Sephora face wash, but annoyingly had to leave a lot of it behind because of the strict airport rules. She loved the makeup brushes (believe it or not, she doesn’t own any), and loved the T3 Travel Blowdryer. As she rushed off to get her hair done (she has a wave that she prefers natural, not straightened) clutching her New Yorker magazine, we wrapped up the conversation with her beauty basics: moisturizer, toner and perfume. Which fragrance, I had to ask? Aqua Di Parma. “That’s my thing. So when I walk out I smell fresh, but my favorite scent is orange blossom. When you’re in an orange grove and the wind blows, it’s so strong…there’s nothing like it.” - Joannie Sevilla, SF
