Not many people, or models. for that matter can say "the first time I met Karl," but for model Nicole Trunfio (who got a cheer every time she walked down the runway), it's the story that sticks out most in her mind from her early days of modeling. "I had just started modeling," says the Meriden, Australia native, "and I didn't know who he was!" Turns out he was calling out to her on the street in Paris, mistaking her for another model. "I had to tell him that I wasn't her, and when I didn't recognize him, he was very gracious. He's a wonderful person, very humble and nice. He took me under his wing and booked me for both the Chanel and Fendi shows. It's such a misconception about the fashion world that people are divas. Everyone I've met is so cool, and unbelievably kind."
