These eye shadows give a very pale wash of holographic color when used alone, but it's what they do when brushed over black eyeliner (see photo above) that really impresses me. If I didn't love mine so much, I would grind them up and mix them with clear nail polish to see what kind of effect I'd get!
Today's FFF introduces you to a 'new to me' eTailer, BeautyTicket.com. Indulge me for a few minutes while I tell you about my experience with them. I'm always on the lookout for high quality products at a reasonable cost, both for my own personal use and for giveaways on my blog. I'd been subscribed to their eMails for a while, and last week they had a product available that I'd long wanted to use for a giveaway item, but didn't want to pay the $25.00 going rate, and it's an item that isn't always readily available. I placed my order along with a few other items, used a discount code, then noticed the discount didn't show up in my total. I eMailed them about it and received a prompt reply (score for their customer service for promptness) explaining that the discount only applied to certain items (which was clearly stated once I looked back at the offer, but I blame myself for not reading it correctly), but the CS agent offered to apply the code anyway just to be nice (another score for going above and beyond for something that wasn't their fault to begin with). I received my order yesterday, nicely packed and in a very timely manner.
